It's difficult to put a price on peace of mind.  Giv-a-Dog-a-Walk offers flexible and creative solutions to ensure that your pet's needs are met.  If you require a service not listed here, let us create a custom plan that makes your pet (and you!) happy.

Giv-a-Dog-a-Walk begins any new relationship with a FREE in-home consultation.  The visit typically lasts no more than an hour and is designed to get acquainted with you and your pet, gather detailed information on caring for your pet and home, and to review our services and rates.  We, in turn, provide you with glowing references and proof of insurance and bonding.

Once service dates and schedule are agreed upon, we anticipate receiving a set of house keys and your signed service agreement which outlines your pet's health history, emergency contact information and full details of the service being provided.

All services are based on availability, so planning ahead is strongly encouraged and is the best way to guarantee your service.

OUR POLICIES:


BILLING:
Giv-a-Dog-a-Walk requires payment in full on or before the first visit of your booked service.  For mid-day walk clients, payment is due on the first walk of each month.  Your service is NOT guaranteed until payment is received.

Giv-a-Dog-a-Walk accepts cash and check payments.  Please note that there will be a $25 fee for returned checks.

CANCELLATIONS & EARLY RETURNS:

Giv-a-Dog-a-Walk adheres to a strict “no overbooking” policy.  Therefore, once you have contracted our services, we will turn away business in order to accommodate your schedule.

0 - 48 hours - payment in full is charged (no refund)
2 - 7 days - 20% of service total is due (80% refund)
8+ days - no charge (full refund)

Refunds are not issued for early returns, but a credit will be placed on your account for future services.

HOLIDAYS:
Please add $5 per visit for in-home pet sitting on any of the holidays listed below. Also note that our 10% discount offer for new clients does not apply to holiday bookings.

Holidays include: New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Holidays require a 2-week cancellation notice to receive a full refund.  Any cancellation notice that is less than 2 weeks in advance will receive a 50% refund.  If service is cancelled less than 48 hours in advance, payment in full is due.

Regularly scheduled mid-day walks do not occur during holidays.  Should you require this service on any of the holidays listed below, please call and schedule in advance.  A $10 per visit holiday fee will be added to your invoice.

HOUSE KEYS:
Having your house key on file saves you money and makes it much easier for Giv-a-Dog-a-Walk to care for your pet in the event that an emergency occurs.  As a security measure, your keys are coded and kept in a safebox.  We do not label keys with your physical address .  If you prefer not to use the safe key service, there will be a pick-up/drop-off key charge of $15.
